Chili

Serving Size: 8  |  Cook Time: 30 min.

Ingredients:

  • 2 Pouch Osso Good Chicken Bone Broth
  • 2 pounds of ground beef
  • 2 small green peppers (diced)
  • 1 small yellow onion (diced)
  • 2-15 ounce cans of diced tomatoes
  • 1-15 ounce can of tomato sauce
  • 1-6 ounce can of tomato paste
  • 2-15 ounce cans kidney beans (drained)
  • 3 tablespoons chili powder
  • 2 tablespoons garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons onion powder
  • 3 tablespoons cumin
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon chipotle powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne
  • ½ tablespoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Method:

  1. In a large dutch oven sauté your peppers and onions until they start to caramelize
  2. Add seasonings and cook for 1 minute, stirring continuously
  3. Add ground meat and cook until brown
  4. Pour in your tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, broth and tomato paste
  5. Simmer on medium low for 15 minutes
  6. Add in your beans
  7. Stir and cook for another 10 minutes
