lasagna soup

Serving Size: 5  |  Cook Time: 40 min.

Ingredients:

  • 2 Pouches Osso Good Beef Bone Broth
  • 28 oz can Crushed Tomatoes
  • 4 basil leaves
  • 14.5 oz can diced tomatoes
  • 8 Lasagna sheets (gluten free)
  • 1 large onion (chopped)
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 5 garlic cloves
  • 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 tsp rosemary
  • 1/2 tsp thyme
  • salt and pepper (to taste)
  • 1/4 cup herb-garlic Treenut cheese (or more according to taste)
  • 3 Tbsp olive oil

Method:

  1. In a fry pan cook off your ground beef until no longer pink
  2. Sauté your onion in olive oil until slightly caramelized
  3. Cut your lasagna sheets into squares and boil for 5 minutes
  4. Add everything into a large pot, except the cheese
  5. Simmer on medium low for 20 minutes
  6. Mix in your Tree nut cheese (dairy cheese is an option as well)
  7. Simmer for another 5 minutes and serve
